Total Micro Products B.V. innovated optical components and highly accurate measurement instruments using micro electro mechanical systems (MEMS) technology for unparalleled form fit, speed and accuracy. Total Micro Products has been acquired by Kymata Ltd. and subsequently by Alcatel Optronics (NASDAQ and CAC, ALU).

The investment rationale was the emerging micro and nanotechnology platform which disrupted industries such as telecom and datacom. 

 

Nanotech Ventures founded TMP and served as its director until its acquisition.
